Whitewater Kayaking

Whitewater kayaking in Costa Rica has been our passion at Selva Adventures for over 15 years.  We have been kayaking and exploring the amazing rivers throughout Costa Rica year round.  We enjoy sharing our knowledge of these jungle rivers and their communities with other whitewater kayakers and adventurers.  Costa Rica offers kayaking of all levels from Class I/II scenic jungle tours.  Fun and challenging class III rapids,  boulder garden class IV river running or steep creeks, canyons and waterfalls.   Our base of operations is ideally located on the banks of the Sarapiqui river in La Virgen de Sarapiqui. From our location we offer the easiest logistics to the best whitewater in Costa Rica.  We aim to be the go to place for whitewater kayaking in Costa Rica.

You can join us for an all inclusive week of kayaking with 7 days of guided kayaking, our favorite lodging, and all your meals included for an authentic Costa Rica whitewater kayak experience.  We plan the perfect whitewater vacation and allow you to focus on the awesome whitewater.  For the more adventurous kayaker that is looking for good gear, good river beta, and logistics we offer kayak outfitter services all year from our base in La Virgen de Sarapiqui.  Or if you are new to kayaking and want to hone your skills we offer kayak instruction for all levels on the warm waters of the Sarapiqui river.
