Rafting Class IV 1/2 Day
Description
The Upper Sarapiqui is a section filled with numerous exciting and challenging class IV rapids.
From the moment we start the tour in the community of San Miguel, to where the tour ends at our private property in La Virgen, participants must work as a team to navigate the river and must be physically fit. During the tour you will be able to admire the incredible jungle scenery and have the opportunity to see exotic birds and wildlife. Halfway through the tour we will stop for tropical fruits and refreshments.

All participants must arrive at the Selva Whitewater Adventures facilities where they will be able to register. Then they will be given the corresponding equipment and will proceed to start with the safety talk by the leader guide in charge of the trip. Paddling and safety commands will be explained to all participants.

Selva Whitewater Adventures- Rafting Sarapiquí is located in the community of La Virgen de Sarapiquí, in the canton of Heredia. 170meters North and 500 meters East of the Alfa y Alfa Service Station, La Virgen de Sarapiquí.
You can use either route 32 or route 126. Both routes can take approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes depending on which part of the capital city you are in.
